Great shot. I wanted to do a similar kind of crop with my picture, but didn't look as great as this. Lovely stuff
André van der Merwe: Thank you, Trudie. I have posted my photo when I saw your photo because of the resemblance. There is however a vast difference between what I see on your tiger`s eyes compared to my tiger as rightly been pointed out by Louis.
I have compared the two pictures. Just compare the eyes of the two tigers. Yours is definitely a young one. Trudie's tiger has no mercy in them.
I have once looked up close into a wild male lion's eyes. Death impersonated ... I will never forget it.
Great picture and crop.
André van der Merwe: You have a sharp eye, Louis! You are 100% correct. My tiger is still a baby and you can see the childish innocence in the eyes. I had the same experience with a male lion and was truly scared!
It looks like you were VERY close! Too close for comfort, perhaps?
André van der Merwe: Yes Larry, I was really close. But take into mind that this is only a baby and therefor does not identify me as a food source!!

Oh wow! Talk about the eye of the tiger! I hope that tehre are bars between you and him!
André van der Merwe: Hi Alan, this tiger is unfortenately held and born in captivity, but this photo was taken outside the cage the baby tiger being held by one of its caretakers.
My favourite of all big cats, the most fabulous of creatures, so beautifully captured. The eyes here look young, inquisitive and non confrontational, though I'd probably still not argue with this one ha ha
Superb
André van der Merwe: Thank you for visiting and comenting, Floog!
